Words can’t describe how number-stationish is this whole Portal transmissions thing.

“A patch released for Portal on March 1, 2010, included an additional achievement, “Transmission Received”, requiring the player to manipulate the in-game radios in an appropriate manner. This revealed Morse code that implied the restarting of a computer system, and embedded still images through SSTV of a grainy “Aperture Science” video feed, leading to speculation by journalists that an announcement for Portal 2 or other Valve game may soon be made. The grainy images hid within them a string of numbers and letters, which the community translated to a BBS number. After managing to access the number using an old 56k modem, and figuring out the user name and password, the BBS revealed a flow of images.”
